5K9 Mutt Strut for PAWS

A 5K and a 1K through downtown McAlester, starting from Spaceship Earth Coffee, with dogs welcome on the course. Sewell Animal Hospital puts it on, and the money goes to P.A.W.S., the Partners for Animal Welfare Society, a local 501(c)(3) that works on the quality of life for companion animals.

The 1K sets off at 8:30 and the 5K at 9:00. There’s also a silent auction, pet costume and trick contests, and Dr. Lori Baggett, chiropractor.

Registration is $20 for the 1K Fun Run and $25 for the 5K. Questions go to Sewell Animal Hospital on (918) 423-5100.
