Enter the 2026 parade
Thursday 10 December, 6:30pm. This year’s theme is Storybook Christmas.
Entries close Wednesday 25 November at 6pm. After that there’s a $10 late fee and late entries go to the back of the line.
Businesses are $100 and everyone else is $25. Public schools, police and fire departments enter free.
If you’d rather pay by check, enter YGCASH in the Cash Pay Adjustment box below, then make the check out to The Railway District and drop it at Yellow Gazebo, 109 E Choctaw.
What to expect on the day
Floats
Floats are encouraged over vehicles. The most creative entries win a trophy for the year.
Rules
- No Santas. There is a Santa at the very end of the parade. Pictures and inflatables are fine, but no live Santa on your float.
- No throwing candy. Walkers alongside a float may hand it out, but nothing gets thrown from a float.
- No burnouts. Unsafe, and it means fines or removal.
- ATVs and motorcycles switch engines off once parked.
Lineup
Lineup begins at 3pm on the day. Check in at Diamond Trophy, 7 N A Street. Numbers are assigned the week of the parade and emailed to you five days beforehand, so please don’t ask for a particular one. Lineup runs down A Street with your number painted on the concrete. Fire trucks park at The King’s House.
Route
East on Carl Albert Pkwy from A Street to 5th Street, right on 5th, right on Choctaw Avenue, ending at Main Street.
