Music from 3pm at the Dancing Rabbit Festival Grounds, and it is free to walk up.
Blacktop Mojo headline. They are no strangers to the Dancing Rabbit stage but this is their mainstage headlining debut, touring their album Discount Fireworks.
Sisteria bring Oklahoma rock built for anyone tuned to their frequency. Regulars at the Norman Music Festival, and no strangers to McAlester either.
American Slang call what they do Oklahoma shred dirt. Equal parts grit and groove.
Bebo and the Evildoers open the show, fresh off winning last year’s Shared Blessings Battle of the Bands. Get there early.
The Hawgs n’ Hens rib cook-off runs the same day on the same street, so there is food from the morning onwards.
About the series
The Dancing Rabbit Music Festival puts on live music in downtown McAlester four times a year rather than filling a single weekend. It is in its sixth season.
Between the festival dates there is the Spotlight Series: smaller ticketed shows at DWNTWN 312 and at Spaceship Earth Coffee Co.
